The board may create committees and appoint directors to serve on them. A committee may exercise board authority as the board specifies, except for the actions this section reserves to the full board. CCIOA §38-33.3-303(3)(b) requires the committee chair (appointed after August 15, 2009) to meet the same qualifications as a board member.
