A member may inspect and copy the records listed in §7-136-101(5) during regular business hours at the principal office on written demand given at least five business days before the inspection. Other records are inspectable if the member's demand is made in good faith and for a proper purpose. For a CCIOA association, §38-33.3-317 is the association-specific records statute (10-day clock, no proper-purpose requirement for the listed association records) and controls where it speaks.
