How much does SoShiny cost?

$25 per month base plus $0.33 per unit per month (an America 250 special, down from $50 + $0.50), and every feature is included on every plan. There are no tiers, no per-resident fees, and no setup costs.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — every association starts with a 30-day free trial and no credit card required. You can set your community up in a few minutes and decide later.

What kinds of communities use SoShiny?

Condos, HOAs, co-ops, marinas, RV parks, campgrounds, and 55+ communities — anywhere a board or manager runs a community of owners or members. Every feature is included no matter which kind you are.

Do residents need an account?

Only if they want one. Boards can run SoShiny in board-only mode and selectively invite owners as the directory fills out. Each association also gets a branded public landing page residents can see without signing in.

Can I import our existing data?

Yes. CSV import for members, units, parking spots, rules, and FAQs. Drop PDFs into Documents and tag them. We get associations live in an afternoon, not a month.

Is there a contract or setup fee?

No. There are no contracts, no setup fees, and you can cancel anytime. The only thing that changes with size is the per-unit line on your bill.

Can we use our own domain?

Yes. Your community gets a free public site at soshiny.com/your-slug, and you can connect your own custom domain whenever you’re ready — just $99 a year for maintenance.

How do you handle storage?

1 GB of storage included — plenty to get started. A Drive-style breakdown shows exactly where it’s going, so you can clean up before adding more. Extra GB is available only if you need it — no surprise bills.

What about payments / dues?

Not in this release. We’d rather do one thing well than half-bake a billing system. Coming next.

Is my association’s data private?

Each association is fully isolated. We never share your data with anyone, ever. Every state change goes into the audit log so you can answer “who deleted that document?” in seconds.

Does SoShiny support electronic signatures?

Yes. Members can sign any uploaded PDF with a saved signature, and the board can require signers and track who has signed. Every signature is captured with a full audit trail.

Can we run board elections and votes online?

Yes. SoShiny includes online voting with deadlines, quorum tracking, and a clean results reveal — built for elections, budget ratifications, and rule changes.

Can we email all our members at once?

Yes. Board admins can send email broadcasts to everyone or a filtered group, attach PDFs, and see delivery tracking per recipient. Announcements and the lobby TV cover the rest.

Can we run a lobby TV with announcements?

Yes. SoShiny turns any screen in your lobby or clubhouse into a live display that cycles announcements, upcoming events, and the community marketplace — no login needed, and it works on older smart TVs.
