Unless the articles or bylaws say otherwise, written notice of the time, place, and purpose of a members' meeting must go to voting members at least 10 days and not more than 60 days before the meeting. Mail to the last known address is enough. Annual-meeting notice need not state the purpose unless a specified action will be taken. Presence waives notice unless the member objects at the start that the meeting was not lawfully called. PCA owner-meeting notice (30 to 60 days, §1141.26) is stricter for planned communities.
