Applies to:

Except for the listed officer/declarant/owner execution paths, amend the declaration only by vote or agreement of unit owners to which at least 67 percent of the votes are allocated, or any larger majority the declaration specifies (smaller only if all units are nonresidential). Challenge a recorded association amendment within one year. Unanimous consent is required to create or increase special declarant rights, increase the number of units, or change unit boundaries, allocated interests, or permitted uses, except as this Act expressly allows. An amendment that would limit, prohibit, or eliminate a reserved special declarant right needs the declarant's concurrence during the reservation.
