Notice under this chapter must be a record unless oral notice is authorized or reasonable. It may be given in person or by delivery (and, if those are impracticable, by newspaper or broadcast). Written notice to a member is effective on deposit in the U.S. mail if postage is paid and it is correctly addressed to the address in the current member record. A member may authorize e-mail delivery and may revoke that authorization; two consecutive failed electronic deliveries that the secretary knows about are treated as a revocation. Member-meeting clocks in §79-11-205 overlay this section.
