Unless the articles or bylaws provide otherwise, regular board meetings may be held without notice of date, time, place, or purpose. Unless the articles or bylaws set a longer or shorter period, special board meetings must be preceded by at least two days' notice of the date, time, and place. That notice need not describe the purpose unless the articles or bylaws require it.
