The bylaws may set the member quorum. If they are silent, members holding one-tenth of the votes entitled to be cast on the matter, present in person, by proxy, or via simultaneous remote electronic means, are a quorum. When a quorum is present, a majority of the votes entitled to be cast on that matter by those present (in person, by proxy, or remote) adopts it unless a greater proportion is required. Remote-electronic presence added by Laws 2025, ch. 62. Condo owner meetings overlay the 20 percent default in §47-7C-9.
