Unless the articles or bylaws provide otherwise, written notice stating place, day, and hour — and for a special meeting, the purpose — is delivered not less than 10 nor more than 50 days before the meeting, in person or by mail. Mailed notice is effective on deposit, postage prepaid, to the address on the corporation's records. Attendance waives notice unless the member attends solely to object that the meeting was not lawfully called. Article 16's 10-to-50-day clock for HOA annual meetings is the same window and cannot be shortened by the documents.
