The affairs of a corporation are managed by a board of directors. Directors need not be New Mexico residents or members unless the articles or bylaws so require. The articles or bylaws may prescribe other qualifications. That is the corporate home of an HOA or condo board; Articles 16 and 7C add association-specific duties on top.
