At least three directors. Number is fixed in or determined under the articles or bylaws. Decreasing the number does not shorten an incumbent's term. Default term is one year if the documents are silent. Directors may be classified with staggered terms. A director is removed pursuant to whatever procedure the articles or bylaws provide — this Act does not set a single default removal rule. The HOA Act's two-thirds removal path in §47-16-8.1 and the condo two-thirds path in §47-7C-3 overlay this when those Acts apply.
