A vacancy, including one from an increase in the number of directors, may be filled by a majority of the remaining directors even if they are less than a quorum, unless the articles or bylaws provide another method. A director filling a vacancy serves the unexpired term. A new seat created by increasing the board lasts only until the next election of directors.
